Recommended Axle For Small Trailer Build
Question:
I am building a 10foot x 5foot trailer to build my camper on think Geo Pro 12RK. I am looking to keep it as low as possible to the ground. Total weight is loaded is going to be approximately 1500 lbs. If I need 1 1/2inch side wall clearance and trailer is actually 5foot 4 1/2inch wide, and 3inch spring movement what axle do I use? Do you carry something that meets these numbers?

For your custom build trailer, I recommend the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Drop Spindle - Regular Tires - 2,000 lbs # ASR2KHDS05. This will keep your spacing for your tires set and allow you that custom width with a perfect fit. The 4 inch drop will also get it lower to the ground. This also takes care of your suspension needs.
For compatible hubs, I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3,500-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - E-Z Lube # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K along with the brake assemblies # AKEBRK-35-SA.
If you don't want trailer brakes, then I recommend the Trailer Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # 84545UC1-EZ which are a confirmed fit for these spindles.
