Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack has to be Tilted Down to Open Rear Hatch on 2017 Subaru Forester
Question:
for a 2017 subaru forester, will i have to tilt the bike rack every time i want to open the tailgate? or is there enough clearance to leave it in place?

For the Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches Item # TH934XTR you will need to tilt the rack in order to open the rear hatch on your 2017 Subaru Forester. This is going to be true for any rack that can tilt. I have linked a video on a 2016 Forester and it will be nearly identical on your 2017.
