Recommended Trailer Hitch for 5th Wheel Trailer to Use with Bike Rack
Question:
I have a 2017 Cedar creek Hathaway 5th wheel that I want to add a rear hitch to for a bike rack. Do you have anything with a 2in receiver? Thanks

We have a nice selection of trailer hitch receivers designed specifically for RVs and trailers like your 2017 Cedar Creek Hathaway 5th Wheel.
I first recommend looking at the Curt RV Bumper 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100. If you have a 4 inch square channel bumper on the rear of the trailer, this will work perfectly to provide a 2 inch receiver opening for hitch-mounted accessories like bike racks.
If you have a different style bumper or one that is not designed to hold the weight of a hitch and bike rack, I recommend looking at a frame mount option like the Curt # 13703. This is an extremely versatile hitch that will fit frame widths between 22 inches and 72 inches. It can be either bolted or welded to the frame of your trailer. The necessary hardware is included. This will again provide a 2 inch receiver opening for a bike rack.
If you do not already have a bike rack, you will want to choose one that is specifically rated for use on RVs and trailers. I recommend looking at the Curt # C18085. This is an excellent bike rack that can hold 2 bikes with a total weight of 90 pounds. I have attached a video demonstration for this bike rack along with a link that will take you to our available selection of carriers rated for use on trailers.
