Why Does Swagman XTC-2 Platform Bike Rack Have More Movement than XTC-4 Did
Question:
I have the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 on a factory hitch class 3 2 inch hitch on my 1999 4runner. I ordered the Swagman Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029. It has a bit of shake and wobbling. I had excellect results with the XTC-4 with its corresponding threaded hitch pin so I was expecting the same results - is it just because of the weight difference between the XTC2 and XTC4?

It's hard to say why the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 would have more play and movement than that XTC-4 # S64665 did for you.
If I had to guess it's because the XTC-2 uses the adapter for a 2 inch hitch receiver and the XTC-4 does not. It's just one more piece to cause movement.
