The tried and true method for easily removing tension from the spring bars in Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution w/ 4-Point Sway Control - No Shank - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW Item # EQ37101ET is to use the trailer jack. Using the jack to raise both the trailer and the tow vehicle a little together will reduce the tension and allow the bars to be easily removed.
