Trailer Brakes Pulsing with Flashers on in Tow Vehicle

Question:

My PS3 is putting on the trailer brakes when I put on the flashers. Have had the wiring checked out and it all seems to be OK. I have used this controller for 3 years and not noticed it doing this before, any thoughts?? Thanks for your time and help

I recommend looking at the Draw-Tite Pulse Preventer for Electric Brake Controllers # 5501. This is designed to specifically resolve the issue you are having with a brake controller like your Prodigy P3 # 90195 when you have the flashers on in your vehicle. Installing this unit will isolate the brake controller from the flashers to eliminate the pulsing on your brakes.

This will install inline on the vehicle's brake output or cold side wire after the connection point where the P3 is spliced in.
