Installation Kit for Demco SL Series 5th Wheel Hitches and a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Short Bed

Hey folks I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 crew-cab 4X4 with a 66inch bed. Does the DM8553004-12 kit contain the proper bed rails and mounting brackets for this truck?

Item # DM8553004-12 is not a fit for your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500. For your truck you will need Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for Demco Hijacker SL Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches, # DM8553014-12. This kit fits the 5-1/2 and 6-1/2 foot beds of the 2017 Sierra 1500 but excludes Double Cab models on the 6-1/2 foot bed. It does come with the rails, brackets, and hardware for Demco SL series hitches.

The hitches that fit the SL style rails are Demco hitches # DM6076SL-16K and # DM6076SL-21K. I have linked video reviews of both of these hitches for you.
