Cargo Box for Factory Crossbars on 2015 Limited 4Runner
Question:
Been researching several different sites and cargo boxes in trying to find a compatible box for the OEM factory crossbars on a 2015 Limited 4Runner. Hoping the Yakima Skybox 12 would fit the bill?!? Seems like theres unfortunately not a lot of reputable info on the web about what works and doesnt for the factory crossbars. Thank you!!

The Yakima Skybox 12 Rooftop Cargo Box, # Y07334, will work well on your 2015 Toyota 4Runner if your crossbars are not larger than 3-1/2 inches wide x 1-11/16 inches tall. Also, the crossbar spread of your factory bars must fall between 24 to 42 inches. This is measured from center to center of the your factory crossbars.
With the Yakima Skybox12 cargo box, for the rear hatch to fully open, your vehicle will need at least 57 inches between the center of the front crossbar to the line where the roof and the rear hatch meet. The attached picture will help show how to find these measurements on your 4Runner.
