LED Tail Light # STL78RB Recommendation for a Coleman Popup Camper
Question:
I tried an LED tailight from somewhere else and returned it because it did not seem to work right. If you can answer my question I will buy from you. I want to replace my incandescent tail lights on my Coleman popup camper with LEDs. Problem I encountered before was all the LEDs lit with each function and you couldnt see when another function was on- in other words, if the running lights were on, ALL the LEDs were lit and more brightly than when just the brake was on but you got no turn or brake lights. If the turn signal was on, they were ALL lit and you got no brake light, but the running lights would brighten up and override everything. Are yours built so that only some LEDs light up for running, others for brake, and others for turn? I know the wiring on the camper is ok because the original lights work ok. Do I need some sort of converter or something?

It sounds like the LEDs that you previously had installed on your trailer were single function LED lights, and that is why if they saw any power they were lit regardless if different blinker, tail light functions were being applied at the same time.
These Optronics Trailer Lights, part # STL78RB, that you referenced are designed for all of the different stop, turn, and tail light functions and should work very well for you.
