Does Valterra Rocket Hand Pump - Chrome Finish Item # RP800 Require Pressurized Water Line

Will this pump operate using a 5 gallon water bottle as a reservoir or is it necessary to connect it to a pressurized water system?

Valterra Rocket Hand Pump - Chrome Finish Item # RP800 has a pump to pump out the water so the water line should not be pressurized. One thing that would assist it though is if the water tank was positioned higher than the faucet. Then gravity would do most of the work.
