Can a 2 Wire Trailer Clearance Light Work in Place of a 1 Wire Clearance Light
Question:
I bought Bargman 2 wire clearance light for replacement for my single wire clearance light on my 1985 Slumber Queen fifth wheel. Can I still use them?

The two wires on a trailer clearance light are used when the trailer light is not grounded through the mounting stud or bolt on the light. One of the wire leads is for power the other wire lead is for grounding.
On a one wire trailer light the light is usually grounded through the mounting stud or bolts and the one wire is for the power.
You can use a two wire light in place of a one wire light you will just want to make sure to also ground the extra wire.
