Hardware for Installation of Powered Stabilizing Jack

What if you cant use bolts or u bolt can u use a self tapping screw or not

Stabilizing jacks like the Lippert # LC298707 are best installed using the same type of hardware used for the original part it replaces. Self-tapping screws are generally fairly short and for an item like a powered stabilizer that weighs over 100-lbs these would probably not be sufficient.
You might get help from the trailer maker who has a thorough understanding of the structural parts of the trailer and therefore of the best fasteners to use for installing this kind of component.
