Parts Needed to Convert 4-Way Factory Trailer Connector to 7-Way on a 2015 Ford F-150

Question:

2015 F150 Pickup. I want to change 4 pin to 4 pin and 7 pin plug for electric brakes. Purchased OEM controller for dash, what do I need to wire back of truck with 4 and 7 pin dual plugs ?

The best way to convert your 2015 Ford F-150's 4-way trailer connector to a 4-way and 7-way is using our # ETBC7 kit. The kit includes all of the wiring to connect an electric brake controller plus the dual connector. To install it you'll plug in your existing 4-way and then connect the remaining 4 wires. The white will be grounded to the truck's frame, the purple to the reverse lights, black to the truck's battery through the included 40 amp fuse and the blue to the brake circuit for the brake controller.
