Brake Controller Solution for Going from RV with Air Brakes to Hydraulic
Question:
can we convert an airbrake brakeman system to fit the hydraulic system of a 2004 vacationer holiday rambler. We have had this brake for at least 17 years when we had diesel motorhomes but have now changed to gas. I await your answer.

Do you have a brake controller designed for use with air brakes? If so there's not a way to convert it to hydraulic brakes but you can just install a controller like the P2 part # 90885 which does not care what style of brakes the vehicle has. All it needs is a dedicated brake signal to activate it and it will supply power for trailer brakes.
