Recommended Brake Controller And Plug-In Adapter For 2016 Chevy Traverse

Question:

Hi, we are doing after market install of drawtight hitch from you guys with the a wiring harness Tekoasha 118271 7-way plug. Now that we know the type of trailer we are going to tow, we need to purchase a brake controller. Which would you recommend? I am unsure of the lingo on the website where it has factory and non-factory. What items is that implying I have? Thank you!

The brake controller I recommend for your 2016 Traverse is the Tekonsha P3 # 90195. This is one our most popular because it is easy to set up and operate.

You will then need part # 3026-P. This is the plug-in harness you need to get the brake controller attached. You just plug one end into the back of the brake controller and the other end plugs into the vehicle harness located under the dash to the left of the steering column. I have attached a photo that shows where you can find the harness on your Traverse.
