The Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 523163-1 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2010 GMC Terrain.

You can definitely use the Blue Ox Adventurer Tow Bar # BX7322 with the Roadmaster Base Plates on your vehicle. To do this, you will just need to add the Roadmaster Base Plate Adapter # RM-033. This will bolt to the mounting bracket on the base plates and allow them to be used with Blue Ox Tow Bars like this one. I have attached a short video demonstration so you can see how this works.

To complete your flat towing setup, you will just need a safety cable set, lighting solution and a supplemental braking system.

For safety cables, I recommend the Roadmaster 68 Inch Single Hook # RM-643. These have a weight capacity of 6,000 pounds.

For a lighting solution on your Terrain, I recommend looking at the Optronics Heavy Duty Tow Lights # TL21RK. These will allow you to install lights on your vehicle without needing to splice into its wiring. The magnetic light kit will provide a pair of stop, turn and tail lights.

Then for a supplemental braking system, I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System # BLU37TR. This is an excellent proportional system that will physically press down on the brake pedal in your Terrain at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your RV.
