Will Powered A-Frame Bulldog Jack Fit and Replace Manual Bulldog Jack
Question:
I currently have a Bulldog, manual crank trailer jack on my 2 axle, 2 horse trailer. I want to replace it with the Bulldog 500187 3500# electric trailer jack. My question is in regards to the mounting plate. On the current manual jack, the mounting plate is triangular. The new electric jack has a round mounting plate. Will the round mounting plate still match the holes where the current triangular plate connects? I assume they are interchangeable and standard but not sure.

Expert Reply:
The mounting flange of the # BD500187 will match up to the triangular mounting bracket on your trailer. All of the A-frame trailers basically use the same mounting bolt pattern and the fact you have a Bulldog jack on there currently means that the powered jack # BD500187 that you referenced is going to fit too.
