Which Line of 2008 GMC Yukon XL is Return Line for Installing Transmission Cooler
Question:
I just ordered transmission cooler #FLX4118GMT for my 2008 GMC Yukon XL 5.3 with the 4l60e. Can you confirm the routing of the cooling lines as I dont have an existing cooler? I assume: top of radiator transmission hose will go to the cooler. Does it go to the top or bottom of the cooler? Thank you!

Expert Reply:
If you look at the transmission lines feeding the radiator of your 2008GMC Yukon XL the line that is on the top is the return line and the bottom is the feed line.
That means you want to install the cooler # D13503 between the top line and the transmission.
