Bike Frame Adapter Bar Recommendation to Fit Kid's Bike on Platform Bike Rack

Question:

Hi, I have the Hollywood racks sportrider 4 platform hitch bike rack. Just realized that the arm doesnt come down far enough to support a childs 20foot bike. Would I be able to use a frame adapter like the thule 982XT to work here? Everything that I see on the internet is using the adapter bar for hanging racks but I dont any mention of using it for the platform rack style that I have. thanks

For bikes with smaller frames or with super low top tubes bike adapter bars like the # UB01 (easiest one to use) can work well.

The overall length range of this is 20 to 27 inches. You'd want to make sure that would fit the dimensions of your bike frame.
