Recommendation to Tow 5th-Wheel Trailer with Gooseneck Hitch on 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Flatbed

Question:

Have a 37foot Cameo 5th wheel with Morryde 5th wheel hitch, we are ranchers and have several gooseneck trailers that we use with the tow vehicle. 2007 Dodge RAM 3500 DRW has a EBY flat bed with BandW gooseneck hitch recessed. Would like to find a good solution stable solution without having to spend a lot of time swapping out traditional 5th wheel tray. Suggestions/solutions? Ball top is now level with base of flatbed so Im assuming an extended ball or adapter would be needed. Regards

To tow your 5th-Wheel trailer with the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch on your 2007 Dodge Ram with a flat bed, I recommend looking at the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G. This adapter will bolt to the trailer's king pin and connect to the gooseneck ball in your truck bed. The coupler is compatible with the MORryde pin box on your Cameo 5th-Wheel.

The adapter also features an adjustable height of 12 inches to 16 inches to help you reach the distance required from the base of the king pin box to the top of the gooseneck ball.

I have attached an installation video on this product so you can see exactly how it works.
