Recommended Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier for 1-Person Use on 2008 Saturn Vue
Question:
I have a 10 foot 55# kayak. My 2008 vue has factory roof rack front to back but not cross bars. I dont even know what I need. The cross rails I guess. Anything else or do you just tie the kayak to the rails.? Is it conceivable I can load it myself? 55inch female, medium strong. Thanks so much!!

If you want the best 1-person loading option then I suggest the Curt Roof Rack # C18118 and the roller-assisted Yakima HandRoll # Y04082-2. Tie-down straps are included.
