Which is Better Equalizer or Strait Line Weight Distribution
Question:
Im trying to find the highest quality WD system w/Sway Control hitch for towing a travel trailer. I understand all the toung wts. etc. so am trying to decide on best product. Reese Straight-Line #RP66083 vs #66087, which is best and then comparing that with the Equal-i-zer #EQ37100ET which is best. Also, where is each made? I appreciate your time and help.

I recommend the Strait Line systems the highest. They have the most advanced sway control that works to fight sway before it even starts unlike the Equalizer that basically tries to minimize it as it's happening.
Also, because the tongue weight ranges of the Strait Line systems are just easier to recommend. The Equalizer ranges are pretty small whereas the Strait Lines seem to be just wide enough to make the most sense.
The Trunnion bars of the part # RP66083 are considered more heavy duty than the roundbars of the # RP66087. Plus the ground clearance is much better with trunnion bars.
