Does Connecting Batteries in Parallel Damage Them
Question:
If I connect two - 12 Volt deep cycle marine batteries in parallel, will it damage one or both of the batteries ?

If two batteries are wired in parallel, the positive terminals of each battery will be connected together, as will the negative terminals. Assuming both batteries are 12 volt, you'll have a 12 volt output but there will be more capacity.
No damage would occur.
I attached a picture that has a diagram that shows how running them in series or parallel would differ.
