Question:

Hello I have a new truck and its a lot higher than the previous Ram 1500 My fifthwheel is a Winnebago 25 rks empty weight 7000 pounds gross weight 8500. I need to lift it by about 4 inch i already book the garage to install the correct track system that will lift my fifthwheel by 2inch and i will put bigger wheels and tires on it. On my axle there a warning trailer running gear shall be equipped with tires having a static loaded radius that does not exceed by more than 10 the static loaded radius show in the tire manufacturers published data for the actual tire tested. Also it is indicating slr as tested 13.25. Can i put 235/85r16 insted of 225/75r16 Thank you

If you have the additional clearance needed for the bigger tire size you would be able to go to a size 235/85-16. This tire size is 31.6 inches in diameter and has a width of 9.25 inches.

In that size the # TTWPRG235R16 is a great option as it has a speed rating of 81 mph and a weight capacity of 4,400 lbs.

The tire size 225/75R16 is not a common trailer tire size you if you have a passenger vehicle tire on your trailer you would want to swap that out as soon as possible.
