7-Way Trailer Connector Wiring Based On Wire Function And Not Color of Insulation
Question:
As you can see in my picture the color code of the 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 factory harness is not your standard color code.

You will need to test the wires by function since the colors aren't standard. I've attached a photo to help with the wiring locations based on function. To test, I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. I've also attached an article to help further.
