Solution for Going From Euro Trailer Wiring Connector to RV 7-Way
Question:
I am looking for an adapter to use with my factory installed Euro towing harness that will allow me to connect the factory plug for a 2014 Casita 17foot Spirit Deluxe Travel Trailer. I have connected the existing male end to my MB female harness port and the trailer lights do not work except for the running lights. There are no turn signals, brake lights, or backup lights. Please help. Thanks.

The best solution I can offer you is to cut the Euro 7-way off of your vehicle and wire a new 7-way to your vehicle by function.
The best way to do that is to use a circuit tester like our # PTW2993 to determine the functions of the wires by having a buddy apply the different brake and tail light functions while you use the # 3808 to determine which wire does what and then wire it to the 7-way like the picture I attached.
Once you do this you will be able to tow your boat trailer, but also any other trailer with a 7-way. For a 7-way you could get a Bargman 7-Way # 50-87-009.
