Will Taillight Converter 118158 Power an LED Third Brake Light

Question:

I have purchased your STL79RB third brake light and I want to wire it so it will work with only the brake lights, not turn signals. In previous comments you say to use the Tow Ready Vehicle to Vehicle Taillight Converter, part # 118158. In reading the instructions it says Will not work with vehicles that have LED tail lights My 2003 F250 does not have LED tail lights but this third brake does. Will the 118158 still work with this set up?

The # 118158 will work for you. It can work to power an LED when installed on a vehicle with incandescent bulbs. As long as it has incandescent bulbs to power the converter it functions fine.
