Gas Still Flows Through HT-500 Grill Even with Regulator Shut Off

Question:

I need to replace entire propane system. Gas goes through even when turned off. Where can I get it? Am I better off buying new. Its stainless and in great shape.

If your gas grill propane system is allowing gas to flow even when it is shut off then there are a couple of ways to approach the problem. First you could try to find the leak(s). The tried and true method is to apply soapy water to the outside of fittings. If you see bubbles appear then that is the location of a leak.

But it could just be a regulator with a stuck valve which would mean you wouldn't see bubbles. To determine if that is the case you would just replace the regulator(s) and see if the problem stops. We don't have the specific regulator for that grill but if you can tell me the information that is stamped into the regulator I can determine if we have one that will work. In the mean time I have included a link to the regulators we have.
