Benefits Of Adding A Compressor And Air Tank To Air Bags

Question:

I own a Pleasureway Excel 2004 with Firestone air suspension on rear wheels. It has dual valves mounted to the rear bumper. I want to install a compressor that will maintain proper pressure from inside the vehicle, with a psi guage. What model do you recommend?

I have the perfect solution that will allow you to control and adjust the air pressure of your airbags from inside the vehicle. To do this, I recommend using the Air Command I Xtreme part # F2543 as this has everything you will need to control the air bags from inside the vehicle and more.

The main components of the Air Command I Xtreme are a 2 gallon air tank, heavy duty compressor capable of 150 psi, and a single psi gauge with manual valve. The kit will also includes everything else needed for installation such as a pressure switch, air lines, and mounting brackets.

This system will not only let you inflate and deflate your airbags to a certain psi from inside the vehicle, but will also eliminate the waiting associated with running the compressors directly to the bags as this kit has a 2 gallon air tank. The compressor will be wired to a pressure switch which will keep the air tank at a certain psi therefore, you will not need to wait for the pressure to build up before you inflate the airbags. The tank will remain at a constant pressure according to the pressure switch rating. The other cool feature of this kit is an air chuck for tire inflation.

If you are having troubling finding a suitable mounting location for the air compressor, I recommend using the No-Drill Mount Kit for Firestone Air Tank and Compressor part # F2530. Firestone air systems have been on the market for a long time and offer some of the best products and support in the industry.
