Do I just need to purchase a converter adapter to connect 7-pin on vehicle to existing 4-pin on trailer?

To enable your trailer with a 4-Way to connect to the 7-Way on your tow vehicle you will simply need the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716.
