Will the Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter work on a 2009 Ram 3500 with BW Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch

Question:

I recently putchased athe 2009 Ram 3500 Quad Cab with a BandW hide a ball gooseneck hitch already installed. I have a Drawtight 15K slider hitch that I would like to use with the BandW hitch. Will the X5 adapter work on this setup or would I be better off removing the BandW and going with the standard Drawtight rails for the Dodge.

Yes, the Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter, item # 16310, is designed for use with B&W square shank turnover ball hitches, and standard base fifth-wheel hitches, so it will work great with your Draw-Tite 15 K slider hitch.

Going with an installation kit like the Reese Semi Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, item # RP30035-186, will also work, but would require removal of the B and W gooseneck hitch.
