Recommended Electric Tongue Jack For 2012 Dutchman Coleman 289 RL

Question:

I have a 2012 Dutchman/Coleman 289 RL, hitch weight is 782 unloaded. The 4000 lb. bulldog jack I have on there broke and I need a replacement. My issue is that I have limited space between the jack and propane tank cover. My current jack barely clears, and I want to make sure the jack I buy will clear as well. Looks like the bulldog is a newer model and Im not sure it will fit. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

The Bulldog Powered Drive Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 14" Lift - 4,000 lbs - White # BD500200 has the standard mounting flange and is probably closest to the jack you currently have. The drop leg will allow this jack less travel to reach desired height.

You could also look at the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 23" Lift - 5,000 lbs - Black
Item # JET-5000 which has a capacity of 5,000 pounds. Going higher with capacity will help the jack to last longer and work faster.
