I recommend looking at the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-3755 for your 4,000 pound trailer. This is a really nice electric trailer jack with a total lift of 24 inches and a lift capacity of 3,500 pounds, which will be more than enough to handle the tongue weight on your trailer. When recommending trailer jacks, I always like to suggest one that has a much higher capacity than what is actually needed. This will allow the jack to not work as hard and generally leads to a longer lifespan.

This has an outer tube diameter of 2-3/16 inches and can be either a bolt-on or weld-on installation. The jack does also feature large LED side lights for simple operation at night.

I have included a demonstration video on this product for you to check out.
