Replacement Reverse Lockout Solenoid Quality

Question:

I am thinking about purchasing and adding the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts Item # T4748800 to my Titan Model 6 Actuator using drum surge breaks. The reviews I have read state this Solenoid fails frequently in less than a year, and the brass nipple breaks off easily. Can you advise as to the quality of this product and these complaints? Do you ahem a mother recommendation? Thanks you...

I can ensure you that the majority of our customers have been very pleased with the quality of the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts part # T4748800. As with any product, improper installation can result in product malfunctions. Because brass is a very soft metal, you will want to be careful when installing. As long as you follow the installation instructions step by step, there should be no need to worry about the quality of this solenoid.

Once the solenoid is threaded into the brake actuator, you will want to use wrench to hold the actuator in place while attaching the brake line. This will help prevent movement of the solenoid and over-tightening.

I have attached an installation video that will further illustrate this process for you.
