Off-set Spare Tire Compatibility With Spare Mounted Bike Rack

Question:

I just recd my new bike rack with a bar to add for a womens frame. The info here states the rack can be adjusted so the bike is centered on the back of a 2002 Honda CR-V, which has an off-center spare tire. How do I adjust the rack for a center position of the bike? I dont want it hanging off the side of the vehicle... Y02599 Yakima spare tire bike rack

The Yakima Spare Tire Bike Rack part # Y02599 does not have the ability to be offset.

For an offset spare tire, I recommend the Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack - Spare Tire Mount - Folding Dual Arms # TH963PRO which can be mounted offset 4 inches to either the right or the left. It is also a confirmed fit for your 2002 Honda CR-V.
