Does the Tekonsha P3 Electric Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 Need to Be Set Up on a 2009 Ford Flex

I want to connect this to a 2009 ford flex. after i install it do i need to manually set it up and dial it in, or does it automatically do everything.

After installing the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller # 90195 with Wiring Harness, # 3035-P, it will need to be set up. Setting up the P3 is very easy. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view so you can see waht is involved in setting up the brake controller. Particularly, you will want to look at the sections called Set Brake Type, Adjusting the Power to the Trailer Brakes (Prior to Setting Boost), and Boost Setting.

You can also set up settings such as screen brightness, contrast, color, and language.
