Recommendation for an Electric Trailer Winch Hitch Mounted Winch Plate for a Superwinch

Question:

I would like to mount the LP8500 so that it can be used with the trailer hitch receiver on the truck. I see superwinch offers one but curt does also. Which curt mounting plate will match up to the LP8500 and go in the receiver on the truck? Handles are optional. Cost is the main factor. 2 inch receiver.

You will need to check the bolt hole mounting pattern of your Superwinch LP8500 but we do offer several hitch mounted winch mounting plates that may work. I recommend the Curt Mounting Plate, # C31010. On it, the first set of mounting holes are 10 by 4-1/2 inches, and the second set of mounting holes measure 6-1/2 by 4-1/2 inches center to center. And then the Bulldog Winch # BDW20011 has these same hole patterns and is an excellent option.

We also have the very basic Superwinch Portable Receiver Mount, # 1559B. it has pre-drilled hole on the top to mount a Superwinch electric winch. Depending on how much cost is as an issue, I would go with the Curt # C31010.
