1972 chev c10 pickup - Firestone riderite air bags shows not compatable with hitch in bed. Whats with that??? Considering this product for pulling my 5th wheel. Why is it not compatable with hitch in bed?? Thanks

For your 1972 Chevy C10 Pickup, the Firestone Riderite Air Helper Springs # F2071 is not a fit for your C10 whether it had a 5th wheel hitch or not. This system is only a fit for the C30 model. The reason for incompatibility with an in bed hitch is due to the mounting location on the frame. Both the hitch and the springs require the same location, so you would need to choose between them.

To assist with your suspension, I have one option confirmed to fit your C10 to enhance the rear suspension.
