Replacement Mounting Hardware for Rhode Gear Bike Rack
Question:
I have a Rhode Gear bike rack that I mount to a 2inch receiver. The lock that secures the rack to the receiver and prevents swaying is broken. The part that is broken is the piece that holds the nut inside 1 1/2inch inside measurement fitting that goes inside the receiver. I have the nut, bolt and lock that secure the rack but not the fitting that holds the nut.

We do have the Replacement Hardware Kit # RG890247 available for Rhode Gear Highway Bike Carriers. This includes the pin, clip, bolts, nuts, washers and 2 inch shank adapter that attach the carrier to the trailer hitch receiver. It is specifically designed for the Rhode Gear Highway Carrier model 8015220 and 8015221.
Rhode Gear is no longer in business so the parts included in this kit are not currently available individually. We offer other Rhode Gear Bike Rack replacement parts such as the Replacement Cradle # RG8890084 and Strap # RG8890248, but this is the only mounting hardware kit currently available.
