Dual Motor Landing Gear System For 1995 KZ Sportsmen 2200

Question:

I am looking for dual motor landing leg system. I have an older trailer. 1995 KZ Sportsmen 2200. Dry weight is only 3800lbs. But Im retired Army and according to rule 16 of the unofficial retirement rule book states I can no longer spend hours trying to jack up and level my trailer with manual crank. Mine has steel plates welded to the leg housings and then bolted to the trailer frame. Ive attached a diagram with measurements. Really need an answer before I can pull the trigger on these. Thanks in advance for your help.

First things first. . . thank you for your service. I am happy to help you obey the unofficial retirement rules and help you find the proper system.

We only have a few to choose from that are dual motor. We have the Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear Set - 36" Travel # RP500708 and the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set - 38" Lift - 12,000 lbs # UF17-943010. Neither of these options fit the exact dimensions you mentioned on your 1995 KZ Sportsmen 2200 (and I do appreciate the drawing as it is very helpful), but the frame brackets can be welded to your frame so they will work. These have the standard leg dimensions and weld stops, but the custom welding will make them functional with your system.

I wish there was a system that was easy for you to just bolt on, but your trailer frame doesn't have the standard frame rail dimensions for that. If your landing gear is in working order, I may be able to help you with a single motor to run the two legs, but these are the only dual motor options we have.
