What Sidewinder Pin Box Fits a Fabex 500 on Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

Hi I currently have a fabex 500 pin box and a Reese RP30051 on a 2016 Ram 2500 mega cab and Im interested in a sidewinder pin box. Just wondering if they will work with my hitch. And also which one would you recommend. My trailer is roughly 15000 lbs loaded. Thank you!

Since you have a Fabex 500 pin box the correct Sidewinder you need is the part # RP61412. This will work great with your Reese hitch part # RP30051 in your 2015 Ram 2500 short bed. Since the # RP30051 is a sliding hitch you will need to leave it locked in the towing position as the maneuvering position is incompatible with sidewinder pin boxes.
