Available Transmission Coolers for 2013 GMC Yukon with 5.3L V8

Question:

I have a 2013 Yukon and want to add a secondary cooler for added cooling when Im pulling a camper, I see you recommended a FLX41236 for a 2010 Silverado, I dont see that product on your line up is this still available and what is needed to adapt new one to the output of the factory line, and the output of the new one back to the factory line??

The supplementary transmission cooler I recommend for your 2013 GMC Yukon with 5.3L V8 is the Class III Derale # D13503, along with the adapter fitting # D13035. This cooler is quite popular among Yukon owners and our customers have rated it highly. It costs less than many other options and you can see an installation of this cooler by clicking on the linked video.

We do also have a Class IV plate-fin cooler for the Yukon, # D13504. This also uses the adapter. This cooler has the highest efficiency rating available for your truck.

Essentially, the best cooler to use is the largest one you can fit into the available mounting area in front of the radiator/condenser. You'll connect the supplementary cooler to the return line from the OEM cooler to further drop the transmission fluid temperature.
