Replacement Tires for 12 Inch Rims on Trailer that is Used on Highways and Off-Road

Question:

I need tires for my vintage camper, which has dual axles and 12inch rims. I drive in on highways but also on bumpy, rocky dirt roads in Montana. So I need something tough but also good or okay at highway speed. What would you recommend?

Even though you do ride over bumpy roads part of the time I would still stick with radial tires if they're available in the size you need. Bias tires are generally better for off-road conditions but the radials can handle some bumps in the road too. And the advantages of a radial tire on the highway will have a great impact over the bias on rough roads.
