Can Reese Dual Cam Sway Control be Used with Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System
Question:
I have a Curt Short-arm Wt Dist W/ Shank - Trunnion - 15k Gtw/1.5k Tw 1 system and am looking to add sway control that does not compromise reverse capabilities. Is this system or another similar one compatible with my WD system? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control # RP26002 is only compatible with weight distribution systems that have cam-style spring bars so it will not work on your Curt Short-Arm System # C17333.
Instead use a bar-style like the Curt Friction Sway Control # 17200. Unfortunately, this style needs to be disconnected when backing up.
