Replacement Cradles for Older Thule Cascade XT Rooftop Carrier

I have an older Thule Cascade XT rooftop carrier that uses what looks like the quick-grip mount assembly your P/N TH05738. I have lost a couple of the cradles, and wondered if the replacement cradle your P/N TH8523387001 might be appropriate. The original part has a somewhat different shape than the original...

It is possible to use the Replacement Cradle # TH8523387001 along with the Quick Grip Mount Assembly # TH05738 on your older Thule Cascade XT Rooftop Carrier, however some modifications to the cargo box will need to be made. Keep in mind that any modifications can potentially compromise the structural integrity of the product.
For the entire assembly, you will need 4 of the Quick Grips and 4 of the cradles. Unfortunately, the original replacement cradles are no longer available for your particular model cargo box.
