Converting a 4-Way Trailer Connector From a 7-Way Connector on a 2014 Nissan Xterra
Question:
I am changing from a 4 pole to a 7 pole wiring harness on my 2014 Nissan Xterra . Is the relay needed to activate the vehicle tow package the same regardless of if I am using a 4 pole or 7 pole harness, or do I need a new relay? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The relays for a 7-way trailer connector are the same that you already have for your 4-way. To add a 7-way you can use # 118267 on your 2014 Nissan Xterra.
