Comparing The etrailer.com Self-Adjusting To The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Brake Assemblies

Question:

Not sure if you can help with my question. Ive compared the AKEBRK-35-SA to the Dexter 23-468-469 and I cant see any difference between to the two apart from the price. I need to purchase 2 of each of these part numbers as I have a 2 axle trailer, and the savings of a total of $40 is what is making me lean towards the cheaper set.Whats the difference

The only difference between the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA and the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # 23-468-469 other than brand name are that the etrailer.com brake assemblies have brake shoe material that is cut during production versus scored and snapped off. This actually makes it a better brake shoes because the brake material lasts longer and the edges have better resistance against wear and tear from the clean cut.

Dexter makes great products, but in this case, I definitely recommend the etrailer.com brake assemblies. They save you money and have better brake shoes.
