Best Yakima Wheel Mount Rooftop Bike Carrier For Factory Crossbars

I need a front wheel holder to use on a roof rack. One that will fit a Toyota Rav 4 cross bars. Does Yakima make one, I have seen them in the past.

Yes, we have two Yakima wheel mounted roof rack bike carriers that are compatible with most factory crossbars. For this, you will want the Yakima HighRoad Roof Bike Rack part # Y02114 or the Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier part # Y02103.

The Yakima FrontLoader is the more cost effective option of the two however both of which are very similar. The HighRoad carrier is actually the newer updated version of the two and the only noticeable difference between them is the Highroad can hold tires up to 3-1/2" wide tires whereas the FrontLoader has a maximum tire width of 3".

If you are looking for a roof rack to hold just the front wheel of your bike then I recommend the Yakima WheelHouse Bike Wheel Carrier part # Y02108.
