Best Cost Effective Ladder Rack for a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500

We are novices when it comes to vehicles. We are looking for a suitable bolt on ladder rack for our 2000 GMC Sierra 1500. I did find Item # EM07706, but I wasnt sure if there were better options for an affordable price. How complicated is drilling with one of the other systems?

The Erickson Ladder Rack # EM07706 is arguably the best rack for the dollar that fits your 2000 GMC Sierra 1500. It has a weight capacity of up to 800 pounds which is higher than even some of the more expensive racks. It fits both the 6-1/2 and 8 foot beds as well. However, it is a clamp-on design and doesn't bolt to the truck. There's actually no drilling required. I've linked an install video for you.
