Connecting to Generator from 50 Amp Service on RV

Question:

I have a trailer with a 50 amp service. It has an outlet that allows me to use a generator the outlet is wired to a 4 wire 6 awg cord that has no receptacle on the generator side. My generator has a 3 prong 30 amp outlet, and a 4 prong 120 240 20 amp outlet. Was wondering where to get the receptacle, I bought one in home depot but its for less gauge wire and actually doesnt fit in the generator plug hole. Do you have a receptacle male and which outlet should I use? I am an electrician so have no issues with wiring the receptacle. Just want to get the right one. Thanks

For the 3 prong 30 amp outlet on your generator, I recommend using the Power Grip Generator 30 Amp to 50 Amp RV Power Cord Adapter # CAM55412. The 3-Prong twist-lock design will connect with the outlet on the generator and the female end will connect with your RV's 50-amp power plug. This adapter is rated for up to 125 volts.

For higher voltage items, you can use the Mighty Cord Generator Adaptor # A10-G30450VP. This is rated for up to 240 volts of power and will connect to the 4 prong outlet on the generator.

I have attached short video demonstrations on both of these products for you to check out.
